He currently holds the position of Founder and Managing Director at Fareast Engineers, a proprietary business established in 1991. Prior to his current role, Mr. Hassan served as the Managing Director of Trans Regional Corporation, based in Colombo, Singapore, from 1980 to 1988. With a solid foundation in engineering, Mr. Hassan has held significant positions in prestigious organizations such as the Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSIC), where he served as Additional Chief Engineer from 1978 to 1979, contributing to the advancement of infrastructure and industrial development initiatives.
His extensive career also includes roles as Chief Project Engineer at Jurong Engineering Corporation, Singapore, from 1974 to 1977, and as an Assistant Engineer at both the Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation (BADC) and the East Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (EPIDC) in the early 1970s.
